Andyman would have loved the party his friends are throwing the night before Thanksgiving.

Andyman would have loved the party his friends are throwing the night before Thanksgiving.

In the wake of John Andrew "Andyman" Davis' tragic drowning last July, countless musicians staged memorial benefits for the beloved CD101 programming director and disc jockey's family and his children's charity fundraiser, the Andyman-a-thon. But none of them are as big as what's happening Wednesday at the LC.

Six of Davis' favorite Columbus bands will play, including three that are reuniting for the first time in years - Howlin' Maggie, The Toll and Watershed. Willie Phoenix, X-Rated Cowboys and Earwig round out the lineup. All proceeds from the $20 cover will be split between Davis' family and this year's Andyman-a-thon.

Now that's a reason to give thanks this season.
