Ringleader Tristan Seufert said everyone who has taken the stage as part of the audiovisual collective in the past two years will return to the fold Friday. He also promised to fill Carabar with fog and hand out a free copy of "Kai" to everyone who attends.

You might expect a unit so focused on performance art spectacle to treat recorded tracks as an afterthought, but Seufert and company clearly put as much thought into "Kai" as they do for their vigorous light and sound extravaganzas. Its five tracks bridge the body-moving and chin-scratching sides of Shin Tower's music.
