You can't grow a great mustache on your own. Sure, you might have enough hair on your lip. But those whiskers need some shape if you're going to make a statement.

In honor of Movember, a great cause that's raising money for the Prostate Cancer Foundation and Livestrong, let's take a look at some gadgets that will help you groom and trim your 'stache.

The Norelco Turbo Vacuum Trimmer (Model T980 for $60 at bestbuy.com) is the most recommended mustache trimmer on many gadget review websites. This specialty shaver for beards, mustaches and sideburns features a powerful vacuum to minimize after-grooming cleanup. It also rates highly for its precise trimming ability.

If you're into trimmer attachments, check out the Wahl Groomsman Beard and Mustache Trimmer (Model 9916-817 for $16 at amazon.com). This device's assortment of add-ons and high-carbon steel blades will keep your facial hair flawlessly trimmed and tightened. And supposedly you can get the perfect Jack-Shephard-stuck-on-an-island stubble by using guide combs that come with the trimmer.

The Metroline Company's Metroline Kit ($13 at 911healthshop.com) looks like a Swiss Army knife but has a mustache comb inside. The pocket-sized kit also includes pretty much anything else a man might need - a flashlight, mirror, bottle opener, scissors, nail clipper, toothpick, tweezer, pen, wire stripper, screwdriver, nail file, ruler, knife, corkscrew and even a secret compartment. This may truly be the perfect gadget for all of you MacGyver wannabes.

Mustaches shouldn't be for man alone, though. If you really want to get into the Movember spirit in a humongous way, there's the Moody Pet Humunga Stache dog toy ($11 at petco.com).

Playing fetch with Fido takes on a whole new look with this 'stache-embellished ball. When your dog grips the ball-shaped end of the rubber pull toy in his mouth, he'll sport his own handlebar mustache. It's probably one of the few things that can make your pup even cuter.
