As a musical movement, grunge didn't have staying power, but that only makes "Hype!" age better as
a document of the ridiculousness that happens when your local scene becomes the next big thing. It
pairs nicely with 2007's surprisingly intimate Cobain doc "About a Son," a tender portrait of the
scene's sacrificial lamb.
