Every year around Christmas, Andy Davis would take to the airwaves for 48 straight hours to raise money for charity and give employees some time off. CD101's most beloved jock would play songs, welcome guests and, at times, get a bit loopy.

Every year around Christmas, Andy Davis would take to the airwaves for 48 straight hours to raise money for charity and give employees some time off. CD101's most beloved jock would play songs, welcome guests and, at times, get a bit loopy.

This year, the Andyman-a-Thon will continue - with a twist.

The fundraiser will continue starting at 3 p.m. Dec. 17, five months after Davis drowned while on vacation in Michigan. Duties will be shared by station personalities, local musicians and several of Davis' family members.

Proceeds will benefit CD101 for the Kids and Davis' three children.
