Sonny Moore just turned 23 last month, but the Los Angeles musician already logged two albums as vocalist for post-hardcore band From First To Last, toured extensively as a solo artist and conquered the dubstep universe as Skrillex.

He'll hit Columbus this weekend on the Project Blue Tour, which teams Skrillex with a DJ more than twice his age, Tommy Lee (yes, that Tommy Lee) as well as Lee's partner DJ Aero. They'll rock The Mansion, the latest dance club to inhabit the former Redzone space.

Skrillex's tracks bear the marks of his time in the screamo scene, with heavily processed emo lead vocals occasionally sharing space with fidget house's diced up beats and dubstep's aggressive wobble. Imagine Attack Attack's dance floor tangents infused with spazzy, unpredictable production, like something you'd hear while dancing to roeVy. It's actually quite glorious.
