The Drexel's annual bash features costume and trivia contests for Hollywood-themed prizes. At the Gateway, an Oscar pre-party will include a buffet, a dessert bar and prizes, and attendees are encouraged to come dressed in their best formalwear. The festivities start at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at both places. And the Grandview Theatre will roll out the red carpet at 7 p.m. for a party featuring trivia and Oscar pool contests .

Oh, and to get you in the mood for the ceremony, swing by The Hills Market on Saturday. They're hosting a five-course meal inspired by this year's nominees for Best Picture. The dinner starts at 6:30 p.m. and will feature local film critics John DeSando and Kristin Dreyer Kramerof WCBE 90.5 and Johnny DiLorettoof Fox 28 TV.
