The Pub: P.K. O'Ryan's is located in Olde (seeing a trend?) Worthington and is connected to a same-named restaurant. But you'll know you're in the right (i.e. taverny) place if you see a tiny door saying "Leprechaun's Entrance" right before stepping in. The pub has lots of polished wood, a mandatory Erin Go Bragh pennant, a nifty curio cabinet stacked with Emerald Isle knickknacks and a well-worn Guinness Stout-colored bar.
Corned beef delivery systems: Knock me in the noggin with a shillelagh if the Irish Nachos won't make you break out into a chorus of "O Danny Boy" (or, better yet, "Fairytale of New York"). They're a piled-high mound of just-fried, thick and crisp potato chips outfitted with bits of house-roasted corned beef, sauerkraut, snipped scallions and a Swiss cheese sauce (Thousand Island's on the side for dipping). P.K. also makes a pretty terrific reuben.
Other grub: The Irish Stew comes in a huge, housebaked bread bowl loaded with potatoes, pot roast, sweet onions, carrots, and a thick and rich beef and Guinness gravy. The burgers - made with Carfagna's ground beef - are also recommended.
St. Patty's Day Special: You'll be A-OK munching on P.K.'s traditional Irish Boiled Dinner (corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, carrots) with a side of soda bread plus a slice of "Shamrock Pie" for dessert.
