Before Homage was an actual store, it was a bustling online shop that received orders from all over the world. So you knew that despite its fairly hidden location near High Street, the brick-and-mortar incarnation of the T-shirt empire would be a success.
Of course, having an NBA Jam arcade game in the corner of the shop helps, too. In fact, the immersive experience - shirts displayed in lockers, vintage pennants lining the walls and Coke in glass bottles - became the buzz of Columbus when the store opened just in time for football season, and the fun environment continues to play a part in Homage's local appeal.
