The day Thurman Cafe's humongous mounds of meat are dethroned in the Best Burger race will be a day of revolutionary proportions. For the time being, when Columbus eaters have burgers on the mind, the Thurman is the deserving default. Everybody knows ground zero for burgers is this cozy tavern in German Village. Those monstrous stacks of meat and toppings are imposing, yes, but there's more to enjoying a Thurman Burger (or, if you dare, a Thurmanator) than the thrill of conquering an oversized burger. It's also crazy delicious.
