Columbus Flea is hitting the town three times this year. Your first chance to dig into the event's riches in 2011 is this Sunday (the other dates are Aug. 7 and Oct. 9).
Spring Flea feels like a farmer's market, only the vendor booths feature crafty produce - crates of '70s vinyl, racks of cool clothing, vintage jewelry ripe for the picking. If you don't like shopping, come visit other purveyors of sweetness - Jeni's, Yeah Me Too coffee and local DJs.
New things to check out this round of Flea include a styling station and photo booth from Madewell (J. Crew's hip younger sister) and the debut of a local food cart, Freedom a la Cart, that will give part of its proceeds to battling human sex trafficking.
