Acrassicauda's breed of sludge is highly reminiscent of rock radio circa 1992, with heavy doses of Metallica's mid-tempo Black Album crunch and grunge choruses galore from the STP/Alice in Chains/Soundgarden phylum. It's pretty badass, especially if you've ever rocked "Wherever I May Roam" in your Walkman.
