"The Groundscore" is the debut album from Apocalypse Inc., Garchar's rap group with engineer/producer/hypeman Kito Denham (Mayh3m!) and producer Josh Capoccia (Noshess). It culminates five years of performing, promotion and detail-obsessed craftsmanship - a span marked by highs (an appearance alongside Atmosphere and Bob Dylan at Rothbury Festival) and lows (Garchar's battle with opiate addiction; he's clean now).

Garchar grew up on punk rock and gravitates toward jam bands, but "The Groundscore" presents rap at its most reverent and focused. Fans of Rhymesayers backpacker joints and classic New York hip-hop will find "The Groundscore" attractive.

Furthermore, anyone interested in Ohio rap will likely salivate at a guest list that includes Blueprint, Ill Poetic, Adjust, The Catalyst, Path, Bru Lei, Eclypse and Meta4ce.
