The Cleveland guy-girl duo delivers a richer wall of post-rock noise than you would expect possible from looking at them. Pixie-ish singer/guitarist Nicole Barille has a voice that goes from a breathy wisp to a wail worthy of PJ Harvey. Drummer Sam Meister anchors the soft-loud-soft changes, resulting in a haunting sound that's oddly beautiful and disconcerting.

Their live performance is just as impressive, and they're opening for Phantods on Saturday at Skully's - the duo's best possible local counterpart.
