In Columbus, it's easy to craft a festival around local music or food. But local alcohol? Not until recently.

In Columbus, it's easy to craft a festival around local music or food. But local alcohol? Not until recently.

This Saturday's inaugural Digfest will showcase all of the above, with a special nod to the growing number of businesses around town producing beer, wine and spirits.

At the new Grandview Yard commercial development, visitors armed with $1 tasting tickets will be able to sample gin from Watershed Distillery, vodka from Middle West Spirits, lemon liqueur from Tessora, beer from three breweries and a handful of Ohio wines. Live music will round out the evening.

Admission and parking are free.
