And that mastery of the basics is what makes his peculiar divergences - and they are many - so brilliantly entertaining. Any R&B singer could blather on about sex in the kitchen, sex in outer space, special sexy days off, etc., and it would be cute. But few can do it with the wit, charisma and comic genius of one Robert Kelly. God bless this man.
