His sound is jam band meets ska skat meets rap rhythm, garnering him fans from a range of musical scenes. One of those fans is R&B singer Akon, who was featured on Matis' inspiring hit song "One Day."

Tickets are $25 and Tea Leaf Green, a smooth, rocking quintet from San Francisco, will warm up the crowd before Matis and his feel-good, do-good message hits the stage.
