Rock 'n' roll and fire go together like hot dogs and crescent roll dough. What pounding drum solo wouldn't become transcendent when paired with a retina-burning pyrotechnics display? On Friday night, Columbus adds water to the mix. Minds could be blown.

Shadowbox Live's house band, BillWho?, will perform before and during the latest installation of WaterFire. The band will dress the part, appearing in shades of red, orange, brown and gold, and the Scioto River will be resplendent in the glow of more than 50 fires levitating just above its surface. BillWho? warms up the crowd at 7:30 p.m. with a 45-minute set. They'll be back at 9 p.m. to play right through dusk.
