Last time I had friends over for drinks and hors d'oeuvres (let's be honest, Giant Eagle chips and salsa), they ho-hummed my generic-looking but expensive set of wine glasses and fought over who got to drink their merlot out of the 25-cent, '70s-flower plastic cups I found at the Newark Salvation Army.

It was the quarter-life version of my future kids preferring to play with the box the expensive toy came in.

That's OK. Twenty-five-cent cups fit much better into my budget than the stemware (the cardboard box probably will, too, 10 years from now), plus, there's something charming about rescued or mismatched dinnerware at a dinner party.

But what about everything else you need to throw a fabulous outdoor feast this summer? 'Tis the season. Here are some entertaining decor finds we love, sure to make eating al fresco even more exciting.
