Fair enough. The band wrote the songs while living in Detroit during the economic plummet, when their music's working class heroes were being blindsided by bullets of bankruptcy. "Speed" is remarkably slow for the Celtic punk folk rock seven-piece.

But Flogging Molly's bench of home run-hitting songs is deep, and their live shows are the type where you can wake up the next morning with a bruised rib and lost wallet and still chalk it up to a bloody fun time. With Clutch opening, a bollocksy bender is imminent. -Jackie Mantey
