Columbus hosts a good share of summer festivals - but only one is immortalized with its own tattoos. That would be Awesomefest, which returns this weekend with a trademark triathlon of movies, biking and body art.

Columbus hosts a good share of summer festivals - but only one is immortalized with its own tattoos. That would be Awesomefest, which returns this weekend with a trademark triathlon of movies, biking and body art.

The 8 a.m. registration at Wild Goose Creative will kick off a day filled with six "Star Wars" movies, several 10- to 15-mile bike jaunts, tattoo appointments at Evolved and a silent auction.

The event is free this year, though organizers are encouraging participants to raise funds for Asia's Hope, a grassroots organization that cares for orphans at risk of sexual and economic exploitation.
