What started as a crumbling manufacturing center is ready to meet the public as a fledgling creative hub with studios and offices for artists and small businesses.

400 West Rich will host an open house Thursday, Aug. 4, to show off the building, which has been taking shape since October. Tours and lunch from the Yellow Boy's Polish Boy's food cart will be provided.

The 105,000-squre-foot facility already has a handful of tenants, though project managers hope to see as many as 60 spaces in use.
