You can't walk a plank anymore without seeing a celebration of pirate culture. The beloved scallywag swill even has its own holiday.

If you'rrrgh looking to celebrate National Rum Day on Tuesday, Aug. 16, look no further than Barcelona, the German Village hub for Spanish fare. Manager Tim Hawkins shared his recipe for the Basil Mojito, a perfect way to sip the pirate spirit.

Basil Mojito

2 lime slices

6 large, fresh basil leaves

2 tsp white sugar

1/2 oz. Rose's lime juice

1.5 oz. Bacardi white rum

5 oz. club soda

Ice

1. Combine limes, basil and sugar into pint glass from a shaker set. Muddle in earnest.

2. Fill glass with ice, then add rum and lime juice.

3. Top glass with shaker and mix vigorously until sugar dissolves. Pour contents back into glass.

4. Wash residue in shaker into the glass with club soda.

5. Garnish with extra basil leaf and lime slice.
