"Space Oddity"-themed book

Ontario illustrator Andrew Kolb recently put up a PDF on his website of a project he was doing for fun. It was a vintagey cartoon book set to the lyrics of "Space Oddity," David Bowie's tale of astronaut Major Tom and his communications with Ground Control. The book PDF went viral, because it was as cool as David Bowie is strange. However, the Thin White Duke's people swept in, according to a report from Toronto Star newspaper, claiming copyright. The lyrics are gone from the pages, but you can still see the imaginative images (preferably while listening to the song) on his website at kolbisneat.com/spacebook.htm.

"Geek Dad" crafts

This book is full of DIY projects for nerdy dads and socially awkward kids to do together, but who wouldn't want a step-by-step guide to creating cyborg jack-o-lanterns, LEGO lamps or their own Slip 'N Slide?
