When you think of Norwegian rock bands, you think of scowling, bearded men who play black metal and may or may not burn churches. Kvelertak (good luck pronouncing it) is not that sort of Norwegian rock band.
Rather, they’re the sort of Norwegian rock band who scores gold records and wins Spellemann Awards, their country’s equivalent of the Grammys — the sort that opens for Foo Fighters in Oslo. Still sound pretty brutal, though.
They’ll bring their arena rock to a much smaller room, The Summit, this Monday with Zoroaster.
