How did they meet? As musicians at Rock Potluck in 2006. Lewis was playing in Rosehips and Travis in Church of the Red Museum (which Lewis later joined).

Tattoo: Each other’s names on their left forearms, one with a compass and another with an anchor

Who did it? Chris Jacobs of Trainyard Teahouse

To celebrate their marriage two years ago, the couple didn’t exchange rings.

“We thought tattoos would be a really good symbol and act of commitment,” Lewis said. “Also, neither of us really wears rings so we didn’t see the point in spending a lot of money on something that would sit in a drawer.”

The latest and sweetest symbol of their love is the couple’s one-year-old daughter, Amelia.
