Though far from finished, the Central Ohio Greenways trail system has spread across the region and connected neighborhoods via mixed-use, bike-friendly trails.
The lynchpins of the project remain the Olentangy Trail and the Scioto Trail, which follow the city’s two rivers, meet near the Arena District and together form a useful, beautiful route between Worthington and the South Side.
In terms of natural escape, the trails access Antrim Lake, Whetstone Park, the Scioto Mile and Lou Berliner Park. In terms of transportation, they run through or near some of the city’s favorite neighborhoods and entertainment districts.
