Northstar shines at all hours and on a widely varied menu, but Alive readers gave them props for their brunch (and vegetarian) options.
Brunch customers crave a Morning Glory muffin, Cowboy Breakfast or Turkey and Sweet Potato Hash. Another winner: the Mushroom Frittata at the Short North and Easton locations. A meatless meal has rarely been so toothsome: Wild mushrooms snuggle in a fluffy egg, cheese and herb blanket. That this package comes complete with a fluffy biscuit and preserves is worth a heavenward roll of the eyes.
This menu bounty comes with a little something extra: Northstar’s commitment to using local and sustainably raised foods and its contributions to nonprofit organizations that further those causes.
