It seems like every year the Thurman Cafe takes the prize for best burger in the city. It’s no surprise considering its signature burger — The Thurmanator — has received national acclaim from numerous food critics and was featured on the premiere season of the Travel Channel’s “Man v. Food.” With two three-quarter pound patties, lettuce, tomato, pickle, banana peppers, bacon, sauteed mushrooms & onions, ham, mozzarella, cheddar and American cheeses the Thurmanator really has it all. But if you’re not looking to chow down on everything under the sun, there are more than a dozen other specialty burgers.
