One of the Short North’s most historic (and charming) bars is the place where Columbus likes to combine games and booze. The Short North Tavern is a popular place for hitting the bull’s eye on steel-tip dart boards. And yes, if you forget yours, the bar has some darts you can borrow. What may go overlooked is that the Short North Tavern also keeps Scrabble and a chessboard for wordsmiths and strategists, respectively, and a couple of card decks. Having a pint — or two — with some friends over a couple of games of euchre is a good way to spend an evening.
