Columbus is in the midst of a local microbrewery explosion — look for names like Born Brewing, Four String and Zauber to take a shot at this title next year.
But the company that bears the city’s name is still the local brewery to beat — and for good reason.
CBC’s beers are well-crafted and easy to find. You can grab a fresh brew at the flagship restaurant and brewpub in the Brewery District, but the beers are readily available at most fine grocery stores, too.
We’re glad that CBC has led this resurgence. New kids on the block, you’ve got big shoes to fill.
Runners-up: Elevator Brewery, Barley’s Ale House
