Best Irish Pub: Brazenhead

From the March 29, 2012 edition

It takes more than the luck of the Irish to win this category. Modeled after Ireland’s oldest pub, Dublin and Grandview’s Brazenhead locations might not be exact replicas from the homeland, but they’ve consistently inspired the same friendly neighborhood vibe. Among the attractions: an extensive draught and bottle list, $4 “Happetizers” to encourage early arrival and regular entertainment ranging from bands to trivia. This is the kind of treasure that used to be available only at the end of rainbows.

Runners-up: Claddagh, Byrne’s Pub
