This annual Wexner Center party has the reputation of a must-attend for the town’s young culturati.
This year’s event includes DJ sets by local spinners and New York City darling Mike Simonetti. Tickets are $55 through April 13 and $65 the day of the party, and admission includes food from 12 Dine Originals restaurants. Party-goers will also have access to the current David Smith and Sarah Morris exhibits as well as James Franco’s video project about Gus Van Sant and Rivers Phoenix.
VIP pre-party tickets are $100. They let you start the party early, and the pre-party includes a screening of “Boom!,” the 1968 cult classic based on Tennessee Williams’ play “The Milk Train Doesn’t Stop Here Anymore.”
Party proceeds benefit the Wex’s educational programming, and the night is a great opportunity to mingle. Cocktail party attire works best.
