Don’t expect a holographic Ol’ Dirty Bastard or anything, but Raekwon’s stop at Skully’s this Monday is bound to conjure nostalgic visions. The Chef hasn’t halted his output of grainy, grisly New York rap — his recent “Unexpected Victory” mixtape lends its name to this tour — yet the setlist for his appearance at Pitchfork Music Festival last summer was proof positive that he’s happy to bust out the hits to satiate the faithful. And honestly, the Wu-Tang emcee is so good at rapping that connoisseurs of skillful microphone play will be thrilled even outside the familiar comforts of the 36 Chambers.
