One of the most aggressive, outre excursions on Kanye West and Jay-Z’s luxury-conscious “Watch the Throne” was dubstep banger “Who Gon’ Stop Me.” One of Mr. West’s greatest talents is scouring the four corners of pop music for samples to meld with solipsistic rhymes. He has a killer ear, and on that song it led him to Flux Pavilion’s “I Can’t Stop,” a propulsive dance track as heavy on melody as it is on bass drops. Flux Pavilion (a.k.a. Joshua Steele) is getting only better at this; the British DJ’s new “Daydreamer” single will blow life into your lungs, too. J. Rabbit, Brown & Gammon, Carma and Attak will spin before Steele this Wednesday at The Bluestone.
