Come to this next installment of the popular Pecha Kucha event and I promise you won’t leave empty-minded.
At Pecha Kucha, speakers from various arenas of life present 20 images on a big screen and talk about each image for 20 seconds. They discuss their work, life and ideas.
Speakers this Pecha Kucha include architects, a museum curator, an arts nonprofit organizer, a college student and a healthy living enthusiast. The suggested donation is $2 per person, which benefits future Columbus Pecha Kucha events, and there is free parking in Eartha Limited’s lot.
Each Pecha Kucha has its own little quirky attractions. Thursday visitors will find local food trucks, an intermission performance by the Transit Arts team, and a Juan Carrera-curated pop-up art show featuring work by the likes of Adam Brouillette, Chris Sherman, Ryan Orewiler and others.
P.S. I love the idea of a pop-up art show. See, inspired already.
