Time travel is the theme at this year’s massive Origins Game Fair, which begins Wednesday. Thousands of game enthusiasts (and people who like to see adults in out-there costumes) will descend on the convention center for four days of card-based, miniature and other games, as well as live-action role playing.
Wil Wheaton, a “champion of geek culture” famous for his roles in “Eureka,” “Star Trek: The Next Generation” and “Stand By Me,” will be at the fair, as will Felicia Day (“Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog,” “The Guild,” “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”) and Adrienne Wilkinson (“Xena: Warrior Princess”). Game designers, artists and authors are also making appearances.
A day pass to the event is just $10, and that gets you spectator access to non-ticketed events.
