It is my duty as a native Southerner to be picky about culinary staples like corn bread, fried okra and grits. Hubbard Grille’s corn bread surpasses this Tennessean’s standards. It’s slightly but not overly sweet, and crumbly but firm enough not to fall apart when slathered with luscious lavender-infused butter. Y’all should try it next time you’re nearby.
