Their last album, “OMNI,” plunged the math-rock vets deeper into a ’70s-prog-meets-’80s-synth-pop daydream that approximates Peter Gabriel and Yes voyaging the high seas on Hall & Oates’ yacht. Judging from “Lonely Gun,” the first single from their upcoming “Infinity Overhead,” they’re continuing to sail boldly and unashamedly in that direction, even borrowing M83’s saxophone for the ride.
