Dancing to hits from the last two decades of the 20th century at Skully's weekly Ladies '80s event is always a blast - there's a reason it is the city's longest-running dance party - but tonight it will get so bright, you'll have to wear shades.
Dancing to hits from the last two decades of the 20th century at Skully’s weekly Ladies ’80s event is always a blast — there’s a reason it is the city’s longest-running dance party — but tonight it will get so bright, you’ll have to wear shades.
FYI: Ray-Ban Wayfarers would be the most historically accurate choice.
The bar has designated this Ladies ’80s a Neon Summer Party. The party-goer with the best outfit concocted of fluorescent accoutrements will win $100. Second and third place will win $50 and $25, respectively.
This is a fun chance to use all that neon crap you (and I) bought this summer but probably won’t wear again until next decade because there is no way a trend that colorfully violent can be popular for two consecutive summer seasons. Unless you’re Olivia Newton John. Hey, girl.
