Staff pick: WooFstock at Camp Mary Orton

By Columbus Alive
From the August 16, 2012 edition

Peace, love and drool, baby. At WooFstock, lucky dogs and their humans get a day in the park that’s just like Woodstock, though doggie treats might be the most adventurous thing being passed around.

Humans are encouraged to bring their spayed or neutered animal pal for a day of music and activities. Camp Mary Orton is outfitted with miles of trails for happy hiking, and there will be plenty of vendors, games, food and beer. Donna Mogavero, Anna & the Consequences and The Get Outs will provide entertainment. Even people without dogs can stop by and learn how they can be paired up with the right furry friend.

The $15 ticket helps Columbus Dog Connection spay and neuter animals and find homes for them.
