The Columbus microbrew comeback is aptly represented at this year’s expanded North Market Microbrew Festival. All we can say to that is, “Fill ’er up.”
Newcomers Zauber Brewing Company, Hoof Hearted Brewing and Four String Brewing Company are making appearances at the festival, alongside big brothers from Columbus Brewing Company, Barley’s and more. Brewers from Cincinnati, Akron, Zanesville, Toledo and Cleveland are also toting kegs to the party.
The festival has outgrown the second floor of the market, so booths will be set up this year on Spruce Street. Show up early on Saturday and shop the farmers market.
Admission to the beer tasting is $20. That gets you a pint glass, 10 tasting tickets and a $5 gift card to any merchant in the North Market (try a slice of Clever Crow pizza to sop up some of those suds).
