R. Kelly’s hip-hopera “Trapped in the Closet” is just one of the strangest, possibly most brilliant, things I’ve ever laid eyes on. I’m not quite sure to what to make of the first 22 chapters of sexual exploits, other than it’s endlessly entertaining. I’ve seen the entirety of “Trapped in the Closet” a handful of times, and I will surely be watching it again when it airs 10 a.m. Thanksgiving Day on IFC. (I hope this becomes a 24-hour marathon turkey day tradition like “Christmas Story” on Christmas Day.) The day after the original airs, the all-new saga of Sylvester, et al. will begin with 20 more chapters. Some characters sadly won’t be returning — “where’s Chuck?” — but all you really need is Kells singing some of the most ridiculous conversations and scenarios in the history of mankind.
