As despised as LeBron James was after his self-congratulatory “Decision” to leave the Cleveland Cavaliers for the Miami Heat, writing a book titled “The Whore of Akron: One Man’s Search for the Soul of LeBron James” took some balls. The man with said balls, Scott Raab (whom the Heat once denied press credentials to because of his angry Tweets about their King), is visiting Ohio State alongside Dan Kois, senior editor at Slate, an online current affairs magazine, and a contributing writer to New York Times Magazine. The pair will be in town Thursday for a discussion of their writing work, LeBron-related and otherwise. The event is free, open to the public and presented by the OSU Department of English’s Visiting Writers Program. Check out ColumbusAlive.com for a Q&A with Raab.
