At this point, you know what you’re getting from Mark Oliver Everett — that’d be bluesy alt-rock marked by Everett’s sneering wit and occasional detours into chamber pop — and whether that formula is your cup of tea.
Those who worship the bearded, sunglass-bespectacled E know he just released an album called Wonderful, Glorious (there might be some hyperbole there), the first Eels record since the band completed a trilogy of concept records in 2010. The new LP has yielded an interconnected series of videos featuring E’s adventures with a sundress-wearing, tambourine-shaking mystery woman.
Also on Sunday’s bill: Nicole Atkins.
