There’s a reason Arthur Miller’s drama about the Salem Witch trials is a theatrical classic, an allegory to the Joseph McCarthy “witch hunts” for Communists in America, of which Miller himself was a victim. The story of Sarah Good has elements of tragedy, caution and suspense, and the second annual production by the Columbus School for Girls and The Actors’ Theatre of Columbus of “The Crucible” promises to be a memorable evening.
