Small, upstart roasters and premium coffeehouses have now infiltrated neighborhoods in a way that’s reminiscent of a certain Northwest chain that rhymes with carbucks.
But it was Columbus’ Cup O’ Joe that first slayed that ubiquitous giant. And for good reason. Since the first one opened in German Village in 1994, the city’s coffee drinkers have appreciated the business’s inviting atmosphere and fantastic, locally roasted — and fresh — coffee.
