Best Sandwiches: Katzinger’s Delicatessen

From the March 28, 2013 edition

Cranking out overstuffed New York-ish deli specialties — and much more — since the ’80s, counter-ordering Katzinger’s is nothing short of a local institution.

So naturally its charmingly cluttered space is the kind of place politicians visit to sit over barrels of great free pickles while chewing the pastrami fat with Buckeye voters.

That’s why you’ll see President Bill’s Day at the Deli (a corned beef, Swiss cheese and hot mustard on pumpernickel combination created by Clinton during a Katzinger’s hang-out) among a veritable wall of fancifully named and desire-inducing sandwiches.
