Best Steakhouse: Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse

From the March 28, 2013 edition

Each of the four Columbus Hyde Park locations flaunts its own look and ambiance — they vary from an old-school jazzy hangout in Upper Arlington to the snazzy and dramatic branch on “the cap.”

What’s unchanging throughout though, are the aged and charred prime beef steaks that provoked price-be-damned Alive fans to catapult this Cleveland-based chain of red meat palaces to the top of its heap.

Try the giant and outstanding Steak Nicklaus (many selections are named after local sports celebrities), an au poivre-like beauty that arrives drunk on hooch and ignited by fiery cracked peppercorns.
