Mizuno Running Shoes

There’s nothing better than a new pair of shoes, especially bright blue and hot pink ones. When I decided it was time to pick up running, I went to Road Runner Sports in Worthington to buy my new kicks. They not only personally helped me find the right shoe, but they also measured my feet, checked my arches and watched me run to determine which kind of shoe I needed.

Sweet deals on sweet stuff! The site features fantastic boutique deals on a variety of products. Once you sign up on, you receive daily emails on what’s discounted. Most deals run for 24-48 hours, and the discount is sometimes up to 85 percent off. I’ve already purchased iPhone cases for half-price and have my eye out for more deals.

Reds Opening Day

The first Monday in April has always been an important day in my life — Cincinnati Reds Opening Day. When I was younger, I was one of those lucky kids whose parents took her out of school early to go to the game. Reds fans are so hopeful for a winning season. You know, maybe, just maybe, we can make it to the World Series this year. Sadly, I couldn’t get tickets to this year’s opener, but I’ll certainly be sporting my Reds tee on April 1.

“The Walking Dead”

I was pretty late to jump on “The Walking Dead” bandwagon, but now I’m hooked. I went on a Netflix bender and watched the entire first two seasons of AMC’s zombie apocalypse drama in a matter of days. I know that is a lot of zombie drama to consume at once, but I didn’t realize I had a problem until I walked into Target expecting to find a horde of walkers roaming the store instead of humans.

Sephora + Pantone Universe Emerald eye shadow

Emerald is Pantone’s 2013 Color of the Year, which, in my opinion, is a huge step up from last year’s tango tangerine. This is the perfect combination of things I love: green, Pantone colors and makeup. Plus, I’ve been told green really brings out my eyes.
